A-M-E-I !!! Essa foi, sem dúvida, a melhor temporada do American Idol! E fechou com chave de ouro, com o único resultado possível: DAVID COOK é o novo Idol e venceu o Archuleta com uma vantagem de nada menos que 12 milhões de votos! O Archuleta não teve a mínima chance - e nem poderia, né, pessoal?

Bem que o Simon tentou dar uma forcinha pro Archuleta ontem, com aquelas declarações absurdas que o ele tinha vencido todos os rounds e sido bem melhor que o Cook. Ah, coitado! Hoje o Simon teve que se retratar; passou vergonha ao dizer que reviu o programa e viu que a diferença de qualidade de performance entre os 2 Davids não foi tanta como ele pensou.
Ué, pra mim foi! Cook arrasou, tanto que a diferença de votos foi imensa! O povo americano soube votar e não caiu no papinho do Randy e Simon, que queriam a vitória do Archuleta.
Agora estarei aqui, fã de carteirinha, aguardando o lançamento do CD do David Cook!!!

UM MOMENTO ESPECIAL
Dois candidatos injustamente eliminados tão cedo - Michael Johns e Carly Smithson - fizeram uma bela parceria, cantando The Letter.

Falando na performance do Top 12, vocês também notaram a cara de desgosto da Amanda Overmeyer todas as vezes que entrou no palco pra cantar? Ela demonstrou claramente que estava ali obrigada, nem fez questão de disfarçar.

O momento de emoção do nosso ídolo ao ser anunciada sua vitória.

David Cook, que era bartender, resolveu se inscrever no American Idol para ajudar o irmão com câncer e acabou se tornando a maior sensação da música. Arrisco dizer que ele é o American Idol mais querido de todas as edições e o que promete fazer mais suce$$o!

1º ROUND:

- DAVID COOK – Cantou I still haven’t found what I’m looking for. Ah, me matou! A-do-ro essa música! E cantada pelo David fica ainda mais especial!
Randy achou a escolha da musica boa, mas não sabe se David deu tudo dele. Eu já disse que odeio o Randy?
Simon achou a performance FENOMENAL! U-huuuu!

- DAVID ARCHULETA – Cantou Don’t let the Sun go down on me. A-M-O essa música e amo Elton John e George Michael! Até que ele cantou direitinho, mas tem aquela voz esquisita que incomoda. Ah. Se o Cook tivesse cantado essa preciosidade...
Randy adorou, ficou todo empolgadinho.
Simon achou essa a melhor performance do Archuleta até agora. e acrescentou que ele venceu o 1º round. Humpf! Que absurdo! Como assim? Ele não considerou o Cook fenomenal? David Cook cantando U2 foi simplesmente perfeito e o Archuleta não chegou nem aos pés dele com essa performance.

2º ROUND:

- DAVID COOK – Cantou Dream Big.
Randy finalmente elogiou!
Simon disse que foi ok, mas como era a final não lhe pareceu um grande momento do Cook.

- DAVID ARCHULETA – Cantou In this moment.
Randy não gostou muito da música. Eu também não, chata demais.
Simon disse que o 2º round também é do Archuleta. Credo! Ele estava dopado?

3º ROUND: ESCOLHA DOS PARTICIPANTES.

- DAVID COOK – Cantou The world I know.
Randy gostou bastante da performance.
Simon considerou a escolha da música errada, que David deveria ter cantado Billie Jean ou Hello. Nisso tenho que concordar. Se ele tivesse cantado Hello, iria arrasar e esmagar o Archuleta!

- DAVID ARCHULETA – Cantou Imagine. Creeeedo! Achei horrível! Parecia que o Archuleta estava cantando em um velório. A música ficou horrível.
Randy achou que o Archuleta estava muito bem essa noite.
Simon acha que Archuleta vai vencer a competição. Argh!

Senti que os jurados forçaram bastante a barra para que o Archuleta fosse o vencedor. Não consigo acreditar que eles realmente considerem o Archuleta melhor que o Cook. Não há comparação entre os dois. Cook é muuuuito superior. Eu o considero perfeito, enquanto o Archuleta tem uma voz esquisita e estilo cansativo de interpretar as músicas.

Daqui a pouco teremos a final. E eu já estou esperando o CD do David Cook!

Os 3 finalistas voltaram às suas cidades para serem homenageados. Vimos um pequeno trecho das visitas. No Top 3, cada um teve que cantar 3 músicas.

I. MÚSICAS ESCOLHIDAS PELOS JURADOS

1. DAVID ARCHULETA – Cantou And so it goes, do Billy Joel. Até que cantou bem, mas a voz dele é chata, não tem jeito.
Randy disse que ele vai ganhar a competição.
Simon achou a performance boa, mas previsível. Exatamente o que eu achei.

2. SYESHA MERCADO – Cantou If I ain’t got you, de Alicia Keys. Jason saiu e deixou uma substituta no quesito “mesmice”.
Randy acha que ela chegou ao auge dela na competição. (Esse é o auge?).
Simon acha que não foi o suficiente.

3. DAVID COOK – Cantou First time ever I saw your face, de Roberta Fleck. Ah, nem dou mais minha opinião, porque todos sabem que eu considero o David Cook perfeito!
Randy disse que Simon poderia ter escolhido algo menos previsível (a música que ele cantou foi escolhida pelo Simon). Ih, o Randy só pode estar querendo eliminar o David pra deixar aquela Syesha na final, não é possível!
Simon disse que foi uma das melhores performances dele. E acrescentou que o David é brilhante e genial porque sabe se arriscar. Disse tudo!

II. MÚSICAS ESCOLHIDAS PELOS CANDIDATOS

1. DAVID ARCHULETA – Cantou With you, de Chris Brown. Também foi passável. Até que hoje ele estava inspirado...
Randy não sabe se a escolha foi boa.
Simon achou a performance esquisita porque não é o estilo do David.

2. SYESHA MERCADO – Cantou Fever, de Peggy Lee. Agora ela se acha a sexy performer da Broadway: cantou e dançou se esfregando numa cadeira, como sempre tem feito ultimamente. Previsível e chata, apesar de ter cantado muito bem.
Randy levantou demais a bola dela. Tô dizendo... Ele critica os 2 Davids pra tentar a classificação da Syesha.
Simon acha que ela fez uma performance de cabaré. Hahahahahha! Simon, você tirou as palavras da minha boca! E ele disse que ela provavelmente vai se arrepender da escolha da música. Tomara!

3. DAVID COOK – Cantou Dare you to move, do Switchfoot.
Randy não acha que foi a melhor noite de David, que ele saiu do tom.
Não digo que ele está tentando uma vaga pra Syesha? Ela é a única que ele não critica.

III. MÚSICAS ESCOLHIDAS PELOS PRODUTORES

1. DAVID ARCHULETA – Cantou Longer. Ah, adoro essa música, mas a voz do Archuleta não caiu bem nela. Aliás, a voz dele me irrita.
Randy finalmente elogiou a performance.
Simon acha que ele cantou muito bem, mas particularmente detesta a música e letra.

2. SYESHA MERCADO – Cantou Hit me up. Esqueceu de levar a cadeira pro palco ou desistiu dela porque o Simon criticou? Hahahahahaha!
Randy considerou a apresentação ok, razoável. Finalmente! Desistiu de proteger porque percebeu que realmente não tem condições?
Simon não gostou muito da performance e acha que não a levará à final.

3. DAVID COOK – Cantou I don’t wanna miss a thing. Encerrou com chave de ouro, no seu melhor estilo roqueiro! Adoro essa música e David certamente cantou melhor que o Aerosmith!
Randy achou apenas ok, razoável, previsível. Ah, Randy vai te catar! Tá boicotando o David, é?
Simon disse que David Cook foi o melhor da noite! E que essa é uma das melhores músicas de todos os tempos.

Bem, agora só nos resta torcer para que a Syesha finalmente vaze e o David Cook não só se classifique para a final, como também vença o programa!

A.I. TOP 4: JASON CASTRO ELIMINADO

Jason Castro foi eliminado.

Semana que vem, os 3 finalistas farão shows em suas cidades. E Syesha está entre eles! Impressionante! Como pode ela ter sido mais votada que o Jason, se ele era bastante popular e ela esteve em várias ocasiões prestes a ser eliminada?

Esse American Idol já me desanimou. O Top 3 deveria ter sido David Cook, Michael Johns e Carly Smithson. Bem, pelo menos ainda resta o David Cook! Pena que seus companheiros de Top 3 sejam tão sem graça.

E pela lógica, já que vem perigando sair toda semana, Syesha deve ser a próxima mala a sair. Ela não merece mesmo ficar entre os 3 finalistas.

AMERICAN IDOL 7: TOP 5

Pessoal, sinto muito, mas não cobri o American Idol hoje.
Primeiro, eu comecei a assistir quando o programa já tinha começado. Eu também não conhecia as músicas de hoje, com exceção de duas; e as avaliações da primeira rodada foram muito rápidas, não deu tempo de eu absorver as informações.
Mas o principal é que não há nenhuma novidade: as performances seguem como todas as semanas: David Cook está perfeito e os demais vão se arrastando.


VALE A PENA DESTACAR:

"Olá Scully e pessoal!
Achei bem fraca a primeira rodada, aliás deu pra ver o desânimo entre os jurados.
Na segunda rodada , só gostei do Cook (achei a música linda).

Brooke - nunca vi uma cantora tão sem sal como ela, insuportável ao extremo.
Jason - cansei , o cara sempre canta da mesma forma.
Archuleta - chatoooooooooooooo demais,tudo que ele canta fica bregaaaa.
Syesha - sem comentários.

- Tema da noite: Os sucessos de Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Pela ordem de apresentação:

1. SYESHA MERCADO – Cantou One rock ‘n’ roll too many, do musical Starlight Express. Essa foi a única música da noite que eu não conhecia. Como sempre, a falta de coragem da Syesha não a permitiu escolher um musical popular. Hoje ela tentou atuar, como parte do musical, soar sexy. Mas não dá, não tem carisma, acaba piorando a performance. Mas devo admitir que ela cantou muito bem, foi seu melhor dia na minha opinião. E olha que ter hoje como o melhor dia ajuda muito, pois os jurados disseram no início do programa que hoje seria o maior desafio dessa temporada, que as músicas de ALW não são fáceis de cantar. Quer dizer, não vai ser dessa vez que veremos a eliminação de Syesha, será?
Randy disse que Syesha pode ser uma estrela da Broadway e essa foi a melhor performance dela.
Simon a considerou muito sexy, achou que essa foi uma de suas melhores performances e que Syesha, enfim, mostrou personalidade e parece muito mais confortável nessa área (de musicais).

2. JASON CASTRO – Cantou Memory. Aaaaahhhhhhhhh, A-M-O Memory! É o ápice do musical Cats! Simplesmente encantador. Eu gostaria que a Carly tivesse escolhido essa música, mas ela foi parar nas mãos do “havaiano” chegado a transformar todas as músicas em estilo luau.
A boa notícia é que ele não conseguiu transformar Memory em estilo luau. Mesmo assim, não gostei da performance. Achei que a voz dele não teve potência, deixou a desejar. Mas talvez o adicione amanhã aos vídeos porque simplesmente amo essa música, bem ou mal cantada.
Randy achou que musicalmente e vocalmente foi um desastre. Eu não disse?
Simon achou que foram os mais longos 2 minutos da vida de Jason, que ele não estava confortável e não é o estilo de música dele.

3. BROOKE WHITE – Cantou You must Love me, do musical Evita. Ela estava visivelmente super insegura. A bomba já começou na apresentação,com as críticas que levou de ALW no ensaio. Pra completar, ainda no início ela esqueceu a letra e pediu pra banda recomeçar. Ih, só por isso e pelo medo estampado no rosto dela, já merecia a eliminação com todas as honras.
Randy disse que não gostou de algumas partes, que vocalmente ela foi ruim.
Paula disse que ela jamais deve começar a cantar e parar.
Simon disse que ela se perdeu, ficou tensa tentando lembrar a letra e a performance foi decepcionante.
Ah, e a carinha de coitadinha, de cachorro que caiu do caminhão de mudança atingiu o seu auge essa noite!

4. DAVID ARCHULETA – Cantou Think of Me, do Fantasma da Ópera. Eu A-M-O essa música! Linda! Linda! Linda! Mas... Nossa, fiquei chocada! Ele transformou a música totalmente numa música pop! Ficou irreconhecível! Terrível! Assassinou a música! Nossa, que raiva do Archuleta! Aff!
Randy adorou. Aff!
Simon considerou agradável, mas achou que foi uma das piores performances do Archuleta.

5. CARLY SMITHSON – Cantou Jesus Christ Superstar, do musical do mesmo nome. Ela iria cantar All I ask of you, do Fantasma, mas ALW não aconselhou pela sua voz potente. Carly deu show! Enfim uma boa performance na noite. Adorei! Realmente, a música foi certa pra mostrar sua voz potente.
Randy não considerou sua melhor performance, mas foi boa.
Paula a aplaudiu de pé.
Simon considerou uma das melhores performances da noite. Eu diria que, até então, foi a única boa performance.

6. DAVID COOK – Cantou The Music of the Night, do Fantasma da Ópera. Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh, P-E-R-F-E-I-T-O !!!! Sério, gente, a interpretação dele foi maravilhosa! Eu já baixei essa música na Playlist desde a semana passada e não canso de ouvir desde então. Só faltava ver o Fantasminha charmoso interpretando-a no vídeo. Amanhã baixarei esse vídeo aqui no blog, certamente!
Randy considerou uma performance vocal surpreendente.
Simon acha que David fez o máximo que ele pôde, mas esse não é o estilo dele. Ah, Simon, não concordo!

Pela ordem de apresentação:

1. DAVID ARCHULETA – Cantou When you believe. Definitivamente, não gosto da voz do Archuleta, de adolescente que ainda não definiu bem o tom masculino. E ele não me desce, provavelmente por ser o queridinho e protegidinho do povo gado. Então, não dá!
Randy disse que ele pode cantar qualquer coisa. Escolheu uma música difícil e acertou.
Simon achou muito bom.
Ah, quanto à Paula, tô de saco cheio do puxa-saquismo non sense dela hoje. Poupe-me, Paula!

2. CARLY SMITHSON – Cantou Without You. Nooooossa! Eu A-M-O essa música! Me lembra uma viagem maravilhosa, quando a música foi lançada. Essa é uma música muuuuito difícil de cantar e eu gosto da Carly, ela conseguiu cantar bem, mas a comparação com a Mariah é inevitável e foi notório que a voz dela não chega à potência da Mariah.

Randy não gosto dos graves que ela deu, mas no geral foi bom.
Simon achou que ela não esteve à altura da Mariah, o mesmo que pensei. Na opinião dele, foi apenas uma apresentação razoável.

3. SYESHA MERCADO – Cantou nem sei o que, qualquer música desconhecida e eu nem prestei atenção quando foi anunciada, sorry. Como todas as performances da Syesha, essa foi mais uma exagerada, com muitos gritos e desafinadas. Nenhuma novidade.
Randy gostou da ousadia dela escolher uma música difícil e achou que ela foi ok no geral.
Simon disse que ela foi muito bem, mas que acha arriscado, a esse ponto da competição, escolher músicas que o público não conhece.
Ah, Paula disse uma coisa relevante: ela sempre escolhe músicas que ninguém conhece para evitar comparações.

4. BROOKE WHITE – Cantou Hero. Também adoro essa música! Mas a aleffy tem razão quanto à Brooke: ela faz uma cara de coitadinha e bozinha que são simplesmente irritantes! Ela cantou acompanhando ao piano. Cantou direitinho pra karaokê, mas precisa comer muito arroz e feijão pra chegar aos pés da Mariah. Na minha opinião, a escolha da música não deu certo pra ela, ficou muito esquisita a performance. Até agora não descobri se ela decidiu cantar mais rápido ou se ela simplesmente atravessou o ritmo.
Randy gostou até uma certa parte, depois não mais e achou que ela perdeu a confiança no final.
Simon disse que a performance dela foi como pedir um hambúrguer e só receber o pão; ou seja, faltou o ingrediente principal. Exatamente! Hahahahahahaha!

5. KRISTY LEE COOK – Cantou Forever. A espertinha também escolheu uma música desconhecida pra evitar passar vergonha. Como não deu pra comparar com a Mariah, creio que ela cantou até bem, diferente das suas performances normais, que deixam muito a desejar.
Randy achou que ela saiu um pouco do tom, mas acertou no final.
Simon acha que ela fez o que pôde. rs.

6. DAVID COOK – Cantou Always be my baby. Aaaaahhhhhhh, que prazerrrrrrr! Preciso dizer que foi a melhor performance da noite? Hein? Hein? Eu pre-ci-so de um CD do David Cook!
Randy aplaudiu de pé.
Paula disse que essa versão podia entrar na trilha sonora de um filme.
Simon disse que, com essa performance, o programa de hoje saiu do maldito karaokê dos demais participantes e ele finalmente ouviu uma performance de verdade, de um grande artista.

7. JASON CASTRO – Cantou I don’t wanna cry. Achei que ele cantou bem, mas, pro meu gosto, as performances do Jason são lentas demais, monótonas, não fazem meu gênero.
Randy não gostou muito, achou estranho.
Simon gostou da performance! Achou que Jason deixou a marca dele na música, no que eu concordo, como já disse: aquela coisa introspectiva, monótona, chata...

Eu comparo o Jason àquela estilista alemã do Project Runway que morava em Miami, portanto sempre fazia o mesmo estilo de vestido de verão, quase todos idênticos, mudando apenas pequenos detalhes. Aff!

Bem, hoje eu deixei meu veneninho escorrer bastante, afinal ele está faz tempo acumulado, né, pessoal? Então caprichei nas pancadas...
